This role will oversee the smooth and effective management of our MSP services and support technicians, and aid in the growth of our business. We are experiencing rapid expansion in this area and are looking for someone with experience directly supporting the growth an established business, concept, or a relevant start-up.The IT Director will report to the President and CEO, and play a key role in ensuring the company's technology operations are well-resourced and staffed. This position is based in Duncan, SC, and offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Overseeing the maintenance of systems and services: The IT Director will be responsible for ensuring the company's IT systems and services are up-to-date and functioning smoothly.2. Managing and motivating staff. Hire, train, manage, and motivate IT staff to ensure a high level of performance.3. Ensure that the IT department has the resources and staff needed to effectively support the organization.4. The IT Director will be responsible for ensuring that the company's data and IT systems are secure and protected against loss, attack, or risks.5. Work with other leaders and executives to create and alter IT security policies that align with the company's overall objectives.6. Meeting the company’s IT requirements within budget: The IT Director will be responsible for managing the IT budget and ensuring that IT projects and initiatives are completed within budget.7. Oversee technical projects to ensure they are aligned with the company's overall objectives and goals.8. Communicate effectively with external and internal vendors and advisors to ensure that the company's IT needs are met.9. Make innovative and effective system and technology investment decisions that support the company's overall objectives.10. Identify new market opportunities and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies that can benefit the company.11.
