Come join an innovative and dynamic team, with team members who take great pride in their global reputation and are truly family oriented.What’s In It for You?· Work for a very well respected, and established leader in the energy sector· Excellent growth and advancement opportunities· A competitive compensation package· Benefit package (Dental & Medical)· Potential for annual bonus· Generous RRSP program· Employee and Family Assistance ProgramJob Description:· Under general direction, responsible for preparation of drawings and G-code within MasterCAM, RouterX· Create tool paths for CNC routers (Shoda & Onsrud)· Control offcuts to minimize raw material waste.· Work closely with production staff to ensure that timelines are met.· Highlight potential quality issues and follow up with production staff to ensure verification.· Work closely with customers to clarify any issues with drawings.· Control and update CNC program databaseQualifications:· Completion of post-secondary education in CNC Programming· Two plus years of programming experience using MasterCAM (preferably RouterX)· One to two years’ experience operating and setting up CNC Router machines (preferably woodshop experience)· Detail oriented, both in paperwork and computer-generated drawings.· Exceptional people skills (2nd shift CNC Operator support)· Experience using AutoCAD is an asset.This position is for our Afternoon Shift (3:30pm – 12:30am).Canduct Industries will accommodate candidates under the AODA legislation in all aspects of the hiring process.
